Cinco De Mayo
A outdated celebration that misconstrued's the reality of Latinos experience in America. The battle against the French was won, but the war for acceptance is still being fought.
At Mountain Peak Music, TEAJ brought three singers to open up for his show.

Our Story
The Cinco de Mayo show on May 3rd 2024, is dedicated to my mom's experience with the immigration system and the injustices in the attempts of lawfully acquiring her citizenship.
My sister filed a family petition for my mother citizenship which was accepted. Once my mother got to Mexico, she was informed about her 10 year ban, which she has now served 5 of those years. After talking to multiple lawyer, we've concluded her only option is to wait out those 10 years.
10 years is the minimum standard sentence for over staying a work visa. My mother 30 years ago over stayed her work visa. That is all the immigration system takes into account. What they don't see is the family she raised with four kids, two grand kids, the mobile home she bought and owned, no crimes, and all the taxes she has paid every year.
